Dikwa Visits Niger Gov, Presents Revenue Generation, Improvement Strategies
The founder and president of Al-Ansar Foundation, Dr. Mohammed Kyari Dikwa, paid a visit to Governor Umar Mohammed Bago of Niger State, at the Government House in Minna on Monday.
In a significant step towards fostering financial growth and development of Niger State, Dr Dikwa, who is also the Chairman and Chief Executive of Bayco Consulting Ltd, the financial management arm of the Foundation, led a consortium of chartered accounting firms and presented comprehensive strategies aimed at bolstering revenue generation for the state.
During their conversation, Dr Dikwa and Governor Bago spoke about creative ways to increase the state’s revenue sources, which will eventually aid in the socioeconomic development of the state.

Dikwa emphasized the organization’s dedication to advancing Niger State’s development and its determination to use its knowledge of financial management for the benefit of the state.
His presentation emphasized the importance of diversifying revenue sources and optimizing existing ones. The strategies proposed encompassed a wide range of sectors, including agriculture, tourism, and technology.
The delegation from Bayco Consulting showcased the studies from other regions that had successfully implemented similar approaches, providing a framework for the state’s potential growth.
Governor Bago expressed gratitude to Dr Dikwa and the Al-Ansar Foundation for their proactive efforts in contributing to Niger State’s economic prosperity and directed the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), the Chief of Staff (CoS), the Honourable Commissioner for Finance, the Honourable Commissioner for Planning, Chairman Internal Revenue Board, and all MDAs in the state that have related functions to cooperate with Bayco Consulting firm to hit the ground running.
Dr Dikwa pledged to deploy all that it takes to ensure revenue maximisation in the state just as it did in Lagos, Ogun, Bayelsa States, and some Federal MDAs through Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation, and Fiscal Commission.
