Dr Dikwa Bags Humanitarian/Icon Of Peace Award

The Messengers of Peace Foundation (MOPF), a non-governmental organization that seeks to promote peace in Nigeria, has honoured the Founder/President of Al-Ansar Foundation, Dr Mohammad Kyari Dikwa with the Humanitarian/Icon of Peace Award.
The organization presented the award to Dr Dikwa during its 2021 National Peace Awards which was held at the International Conference Centre Abuja on Saturday.
The National Peace Awards is an annual event where outstanding Nigerians who have done exceptionally well in the aspect of peace promotion, are recognized and celebrated. The 2021 edition had as its theme: “We Need Peace in Nigeria”.
The President of the MOPF and Convener of the National Peace Awards, Dr Suleiman Adejoh commended Dr Dikwa for his outstanding efforts towards the promotion of peace in Nigeria.
In his acceptance speech, Dr Dikwa who was represented by Engr. Muktar Usman expressed his appreciation to the MOPF for finding him worthy of the award.
He said the award would inspire him to do more in terms of peace and service to humanity. He also called on all Nigerians to embrace peace, adding that “we can all do well together to promote peaceful coexistence.”
It would be recalled that Dr Dikwa, last month also bagged the Northeast Star’s Man of the Year Award in Yola Adamawa State, adding to other several awards he has received in the past.
