Dr. Gimba to speak at Northeast Star Awards

Publisher and Editor-in-Chief, Neptune Prime, Dr. Hassan Gimba is expected to be the Guest Speaker at Northeast Star Awards 2021.
This was disclosed by the Management and Editorial Board of Northeast Star Magazine in a press statement issued by its Media and Publicity Committee, and made available to newsmen on Monday.

According to the statement, the event is expected to hold at the Conference Hall of the American University of Nigeria Yola, Adamawa State on October 21.
Dr. Gimba is a Nigerian journalist, writer, public commentator and online publisher. He was born on the 9th of April, 1964, in Kaduna, Nigeria.

He was Editor at Leadership newspaper and one time spokesman for the Nigerian minister of science and technology. He publishes Neptune Prime (www.neptuneprime.com.ng), an online newspaper based in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja. He is also a columnist for Blueprint newspaper as well as for other online platforms.
He has also written well over 500 articles basically on politics, good governance and security, especially concerning Boko Haram and armed bandits in northern Nigeria. He has an unpublished book, The Arbiter, which is a collection of some of his writings.
