Easter: Physician advises Nigerians to eat healthy to avoid health hazards

Okon, the Secretary of, the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Lagos Zone, gave the advice in an interview with newsmen on Wednesday in Lagos.
According to reports, the Easter celebration is a Christian holiday that celebrates the belief in the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
The 2022 Easter celebration will take place on April 17.
Okon explained that after festivities, many people report to hospitals with diarrhoea disease for treatment.

“We don’t want people to fall sick because of what they eat and when some people are resuming work, they land in the hospital.
“We are happy that Christ rose but I am sure that Christ too doesn’t want us to eat to the extent of falling sick,” she said.
Okon advised everyone to eat healthy, exercise, and avoid binge eating, smoking and excessive alcohol consumption during the Easter period.

options.”
