Ed-el-Fitr: NSCDC to deploy 565 personnel in Yobe
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Yobe Command, said on Friday that it would deploy no fewer than 565 personnel to ensure hitch-free Ed-el-Fitr celebration in the state.
The State Commandant, Mr Useni Navokhi, said this in a statement signed by the command’s Spokesperson, ASC Bala Garba in Damaturu.

Navokhi said that all Eid grounds within the state would be secured by officers and men prior to Sallah day and throughout the period, to prevent any unwholesome activity.
He directed all Heads of Departments, Units and Area Commanders as well as the 17 Divisional Officers in the state to be proactive and security conscious in the discharge of their duties.
The commandant also urged the general public to give prompt and credible information about suspicious persons or movements to the security agencies.
He reiterated the command’s commitment to collaborate with other sister security agencies and wished Muslims a peaceful Sallah celebration.
