Engr Gubio inspects 300 housing units in Rumirgo town
The Honourable Commissioner, Borno State Ministry of Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (MRRR), Engr Mustapha Gubio, has toured Bama, Gwoza, and Madagali to reach Rumirgo in Askira LGA in the state.
Engr Gubio was in Rumirgo to inspect the ongoing construction of 300 houses that have reached the completion stage.
The Honourable Commissioner also appreciated the standard and speedy completion of the work despite security challenges in transporting building materials to the site.
The project engineer, Ali Chibok, who received the commissioner at the site, said the project was almost completed as tiling and painting will commence immediately.

Engr Ali also appreciated the frequent support and commitment of the Commissioner, especially in monitoring and evaluation, stressing that Engr Gubio had visited the sites on several occasions to make sure that specifications and standards were not compromised.
Engr Gubio, who assured that in the next few weeks the projects would be completed, said if not for the rainy season the painting work will be done in two weeks’ time.
