Family of late don donates 1,039 research materials to NARC
The family of late Prof. Chukwuma Osakwe has presented a total of 1,039 academic and research materials to the Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC).
The materials which were presented on Thursday in Abuja, comprised 796 books, 122 research materials and 121 theses.

The late Osakwe was the former Head, Department of History and War Studies, Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) and Head, Centre for the Study of Leadership and Complex Military Operations.
The materials are books and research works of the late professor that could be useful for research studies in the centre.
Presenting the materials to the Director-General of NARC, retired Maj.-Gen. Garba Wahab, the widow of the late scholar, Dr Amede Osakwe, said the materials would contribute to the body of knowledge at the centre.
She added that the books and the research materials would also assist the centre in its quest to proffer solutions to the nation’s challenges.
Receiving the materials, the Director-General of NARC, Wahab, thanked the family for the gesture toward enriching the centre’s library and enhancing its research activities.
He said the materials would help to enrich the research activities of the centre, to be able to proffer solutions to the various challenges bedevilling the country.
