Flood Destroy Houses In Kano

Floods destroyed many houses in many villages in Dawakin Kudu Local Government Area in Kano State.
The heavy rain that has been happening for several days in a row caused the flood and the destruction of the houses.
In the local government area of Ajingi, there was also loss of lives and loss of many properties.
In the same way, the building of a school collapsed on some students which resulted in the death of one of them.

Many areas in Kano and other states in the north are facing floods, because of the heavy rains that are being experienced this year.
Last week, it rained heavily for three days in a row, which affected businesses and the community’s shelters.
According to BBC Hausa, Mallam Garba Dawa a settler in the village of Shuwawa in the Danbagina region of Dawakin Kudu said that; “in the village, many of the villagers left their homes and sent their families to their parent’s homes”.
Malam Garba added that; “the flood destroyed his house and destroyed all his crops”.
