Gombe committed to enhance development, says Gov Inuwa
Gombe state governor, Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, says his administration remains committed to the provision of critical infrastructure to enhance development across the state.
The governor made this statement on Friday when he received the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, who paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja.
The duo discussed ways of strengthening the already existing partnership between Gombe State Government and the Presidency.

Gombe State and the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have a strong collaboration in some key sectors, especially in the areas of high quality education, good primary health care, human capital development and girl child development among others.
Governor Inuwa, after the meeting, stressed that his administration acknowledges the significance of the SDGs in driving global and national development agenda, describing its 17 goals as the bedrock of human development.
“In Gombe State, we identified our priority areas across all sectors and so far what we have been able to do within the last three years are in tandem with the aspirations of the SDGs”.
“We have a clear vision and we have focused our attention to the provision of quality education, effective healthcare, social infrastructure and human capital development that cascade all through the state”.
Going through the Gombe State’s 3rd year scorecard and progress report document presented to her by the Governor, Orelope-Adefulire was visibly astonished with the feats attained by the Inuwa-led administration within 3 years of its stewardship.
