Gombe NNPP Guber Candidate Bags AFRILEP Award

The Gombe State’s New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) Governorship candidate for the forthcoming 2023 general elections, Khamis Mailantarki has received African Leadership and Philanthropy (AFRILEAP) award.
The award was given to Mailantarki at an event held at Nicon Lixury Hotel Abuja.
He was recognized as an “Outstanding Business Person for The Year 2022” in recognition of his philanthropic human development endeavours through his “Sports Agric” initiative.

AFRILEAP award is an award given to person who has distinguished himself especially in human development initiatives to help the children of the poor and other vulnerable groups.
Persons like Mailantarki fish out talents from among the less privileged in the society and help them grow and have something doing to better their lives and their families.
Such initiatives have help a lot in ensuring human development policies by both government and individuals to find out ways to help people through sacrifices in order to guarantee sustainable growth and development in Africa today and in the future.
Mailantarki empowers youths through a special talent hunt in sports which has seen many young persons develop their sporting talents in Gombe Sstate and other parts of the north.
Young people were able to get clubs they play for with some going to Europe and other parts of the world.
In one of such occasions to send some youths that passed through his sports academy, he said, “My main aim is to help talented boys with great potentials in this state which I believe we have lots of them due to our population and by doing so we will be able to produce the likes of Messi, Ronaldo, Ahmed Musa and other best player is in the world,
“This and many more youth developmental projects are part of our activities in other to uplift our teeming youth from the street for the success of their respective chosen career not only in football, but in various walks of life”.
