Gov Buni urges security officer on commitment to duty
Yobe’s Governor Mai Mala Buni has urged Mr. Zakari Deba, his Chief Security Officer, to carry out his duties with greater diligence in order to support his advancement.
This information was provided in a statement to the governor that Mamman Mohamed, Director-General, Publicity and Media Affairs, made on Wednesday in Damaturu.
When he conferred the new rank of Chief Superintendent of Police on Deba, Buni gave the order.
He stressed that because promotions always came with obligations, Deba should work to demonstrate why the Police had faith in him.

It was reported that Deba had served in various capacities in the Police, including as an Aide-de-camp to former Gov. Ibrahim Gaidam.
it was also gathered that the Commissioner of Police in Yobe, Mr Haruna Garba, assisted Buni in decorating Deba with the new rank.
