Governor Bala Advocates for Wise Teaching of Quranic Knowledge
Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has called on Islamic clerics to impart Quranic knowledge with patience and wisdom, highlighting its significance for success in both this life and the hereafter.
The governor made this statement during the launch event of a complete Quran recitation by Hafiz Nafi’u Usman Ibrahim held on Sunday in Bauchi. Represented by Deputy Governor Mohammad Auwal Jatau, Governor Mohammed praised Ibrahim’s innovative methods in Quran recitation and pledged the state government’s ongoing support for educational transformation encompassing both Western and Islamic studies.
“The state government has contributed N10 million to the organizing committee for this significant launch of the complete Quran recitation by Hafiz Nafi’u Usman Ibrahim,” said Mohammed. “The Quran serves as a guide for moral conduct, acts of worship, and social relationships.”
Mallam Nasir Yahuza Bauchi, the Chairman of the event’s organizing committee, encouraged the Muslim community in Bauchi to seize the opportunity provided by this initiative to enhance their spiritual practices. He reiterated that seeking Quranic knowledge is vital for a successful and righteous life, as emphasized by Islamic teachings.
