Group support Osinbajo’s declaration to contest for presidency in Bauchi

The group under the auspices of the Osinbajo Volunteer Movement (OVM) has supported the formal declaration of the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo’s presidency in the 2023 general elections.
Our correspondent reports that Nigeria’s Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, has early Monday declared his intention to run for the office of president. seeks to succeed his principal, President Muhammadu Buhari.
The National Publicity Secretary of the group Mr Khaleed Angalel, told newsmen shortly after the support rally on Monday in Bauch, that their call on him to join the presidential race has yielded.
He said that Nigeria needs a leader who is strong physically, intellectually and sound to tackle the many challenges facing the country.

“We are very happy over the official declaration made by the Vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo to contest for the office of the president come 2023.
“We are supporting him because he is mentally fit, has expectational leadership qualities and possesses the technical know-how to transform this nation”.
“The Vice-president has been part of this government for the past seven years, he is not a novice when it comes to affairs of this country,” he said.
Angale said Osinbajo is conversant with challenges facing this country, therefore expecting him to consolidate on the work already laid down by President Muhammadu Buhari,
“This is basically the reason we are registering our support for him,” he said.
