Gunmen Kill Labour Party’s Women Leader In Kaduna

Labour Party (LP) members in Kaduna have condemned the gruesome killing of the party’s Women Leader in Southern Kaduna, Mrs Victoria Chimrex. Gunmen reportedly broke into her home in Manchok, Kaura Local Council, and shot her several times.
While condemning the assassination, the Southern Kaduna (Zone 3) chapter of LP demanded a thorough investigation of yesterday’s tragedy.

According to a statement by Zone 3 Chairman of LP, Tanimu Gora, the woman’s husband, who was brutally shot in the leg, is receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.
He stated: “The killers did not take any valuables in the house, suggesting assassination as the only mission of the wicked actors.
“Chimtex was known for her ability to relate well with people, an endowment she used in bringing hundreds of resourceful new entrants into LP in Kaura.
