Hadejia Ina Mafita Initiative Honours FUGA VC Prof. Maimuna Waziri for Exemplary Leadership
The Hadejia Ina Mafita Initiative, led by its Vice Chairman, Dr. Hussaini Shehu, honoured the Vice-Chancellor, Federal University Gashua (FUGA), Professor Maimuna Waziri, in recognition of her outstanding leadership quality and contributions to higher education in the country.
This was contained in a press statement signed by Adamu Saleh, Head, Information and Protocol Unit of the University, and made available to Northeast Star Magazine in Damaturu.
The statement said during the visit, Dr. Shehu commended Professor Waziri for her visionary leadership, which has significantly impacted positively the university’s growth and the advancement of education in the country.
He also reaffirmed the initiative’s commitment to supporting efforts that promote academic excellence and community development.
In response, Professor Waziri expressed her gratitude for the recognition and visit. She reiterated her administration’s dedication to fostering innovation, research, and institutional growth at FUGA.
