Herdsmen kill three farmers, wreck havoc in Borno village

At least three farmers were reportedly killed while others were injured by criminal herders who have been ransacking farmlands around Gubio villages in North East Nigeria.
It was gathered that the Armed herdsmen on Thursday, November 3, stormed the settlement of Modu Mairamti and fought the villagers, burning their houses and farmlands for stopping them to destroy their farm product.
According to reports, a Counter Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in Lake Chad that the herders who are notorious known at damaging farmlands also attacked some members of the Civilian Joint Task Force who tried to stop them from destroying the farmlands.

One Member of the Civilian Joint Task Force said that the herders attacked them with bows and arrows, smashing their vehicles and chasing them with guns.
“The criminal herders used machetes, Ak47 and poisoned arrows to assault us for resisting the unlawful invasion of farms.
“We have so far, arrested one of them.
He lamented that the invasion of the criminal herders and cattle from neighbouring countries into farmlands in Borno was something that had been going on for so long unabated.
