Hon. Dattuwa Rewards Cyclist with Car, Cash for Advocacy Journe
The Deputy National Financial Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Dattuwa Ali Kumo, has gifted a young man, Shamsuddeen Garba, popularly known as Dan Small, a brand-new Honda EOD car and a cash sum of ₦700,000.
This gesture was in recognition of Garba’s remarkable 548-kilometer bicycle journey from Gombe to Abuja to advocate for Hon. Dattuwa to contest the Gombe State Governorship in 2027.
Alhaji Imrana Haruna presented the car and cash on behalf of Hon. Dattuwa and the “Dattuwa Dawo-Dawo” movement.
The reward, he said, was to appreciate Garba’s dedication and resilience in embarking on such a challenging journey to show his support.
During the presentation, Haruna highlighted Hon. Dattuwa’s commitment to helping others and respecting efforts aimed at societal progress.
“Leadership is about service and dedication to the people you represent,” he emphasized.
In his response, Shamsuddeen Garba expressed profound gratitude for the gesture, stating that Hon. Dattuwa had demonstrated his care for the common man and a genuine intention to improve lives.
