The Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba has praised a policeman who refused to accept a bribe of 200, 000 dollars equivalent to N83.87 million.
In a statement published by the Nigeria Police Force on its Twitter page on Wednesday, two other policemen were also praised for their bravery in their work.

The statement, which was signed by the spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, quoted the Inspector General of Police as ordering the three policemen to be awarded certificates of merit for their work despite the challenges they face.“
One of the policemen is SP Daniel Itse Amah, the DPO of Nasarawa in Kano State, who was commended for his integrity and ability to work which led him to arrest a group of armed robbers who offered him a bribe of 200,000 dollars but he refused,” the statement said.
