Insecurity: IGP Orders Maximum Security Around Hospitals, Schools And Other Critical Assets

The Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, has ordered the deployment of more security personnel in schools and hospitals across the country.
The Public Relations Officer of the National Police Force, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, made this known in a statement he issued on Sunday.
In the statement, the officer said that the police officers were instructed to patrol regularly, especially in areas that are facing security threats and to raid such areas to detect mischief.
The inspector general gave the order after receiving some reports and information from different forces across the country on the security situation.
The Chief of Police also ordered senior police officers to use the intelligence they have gathered during their work and to know who should be deployed in areas that are at risk of security.
Usman Alkali Baba also requested the people across the country to give their officers all the necessary support during their work.
