Islamic Cleric Jingir cautions youths against drug, substance abuse

The Deputy National Chairman, Council of Ulama II of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Ikamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS) with headquarters in Jos, Sheik Saidu Jingir has cautioned youths against substance and drug abuse.
Jingir gave the warning at the closing ceremony of the annual Ramadan Fast Qur’anic recitation/commentary (Tafseer), on Thursday in Bauchi.
The Cleric who was posted to Bauchi for the annual tafsir cautioned youths to avoid substance, drug abuse, and disrespect to parents and elders.
He explained that substance and drug abuse pose dangers of mental health problems, depression, conduct problems, and personality disorders, including killing, and suicide, among other risks involved on abusers.
He urges the youth to develop good friendships and relationships, ensuring a peaceful country in the future.
Jingir commended the Governor for the construction of the magnificent JIBWIS mosque in Bauchi.
He said the governor has done much for JIBWIS and Islam, therefore, he would continue to receive their prayers and support in all endeavours.
In a remark, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state tasked religious leaders to continue promoting and preaching good moral values among the youth for peaceful co-existence of the society.

He said the importance of moral values among youth also can help them discover and develop into a better person in society too.
He appreciated Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Ikamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS) for their efforts of instilling good moral values among the youth.
“Those who value good morals get the privilege of modifying and altering their lives for the better.
It helps youth to inculcate good qualities inherited from healthy youth. urging the youth to associate with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation negatively,
“Hence, we can see that it is very important to instil morals among youth. to avoid the social problems,” he said.
The Governor urged religious leaders to continue preaching good moral values for a better society.
Mohammed pledged continued support to JIBWIS, with a promise to build islamiyya school and lecturer hall at the JIBWIS mosque kasuwan Shanu Bauchi.
