Jaha distributes 477 buses, others to empower constituents in Borno

Honourable Usman Jaha has presented 477 Sienna utility buses, refrigerators and sewing machines to Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno state for distribution to the constituents in Gwoza/Damboa/Chibok federal constituency in the state.
Jaha is the National Assembly member-elect for the second term in the federal constituency in Borno state.
According to him, four ambulances were also distributed to the four hospitals in Gwoza, Damboa Chibok and Ngoshe, a border community with Cameroon.

Distributing the empowerment machines and materials, yesterday (Saturday), in Maiduguri, Governor Zulum, disclosed: “Today’s event is in line with the State government’s policy in addressing unemployment and poverty among youths in the state.”
He added that the distribution of buses, refrigerators and sewing machines by Jaha could create more job opportunities for the unemployed youths and women in the state/
On the strategic importance of the ambulances, he said that a lot of lives could be saved, including the safe deliveries of babies in the four hospitals.
According to Jaha, the 300 sewing machines were donated by the National Centre for Women Development (NCWD), while 60 others are donated by friends and political associates.
He added that the 13 distributed ambulances were also donated him by the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), while the 100 sewing machines were collectively donated by closest friends in various parts of the country.
