Kwankwaso Commissions Kaduna Campaign Office, Affirms ABG As Authentic NNPP Reps Candidate

          By Abdullahi Ahmad Bamalli

Presidential Candidate of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Rabi’u Kwankwaso has commissioned a campaign office over the weekend in Kaduna.

Kwankwaso, the leader of the party affirmed that Shehu Bawa, known as ABG is the party’s Kaduna North House of Reps flag bearer in the forthcoming 2023 general election.

He said if elected President in 2023, he would declare free education, empower youth and women on vocations, solve the county’s perennial security issue and set Nigeria on a workable path of effective and responsive governance.

The campaign office located in the heart of the State Capital was donated by the Former Federal Legislator solely for organising and coordinating grassroots joint mobilisation activities for Presidential bids of Kwankwaso and ABG.

The two term Governor of Kano State commended ABG for sacrifice and loyalty to the party, saying if other members could emulate the House of Reps hopeful, the party would emerge victorious at the February poll of next year.

He declared the party as the only hope of the common man to right the wrongs done to the country by successive administrations, adding that Nigerians would not regret voting NNPP at every level of election.

While calling on Kaduna North Voters to vote ABG as their next Reps in the Green Chamber, Kwankwaso pleaded with people of the state to cast their votes for Sulaiman Hunkuyi as the party’s governorship candidate.

Kwankwaso also at the Campaign Office received ten former ward chairmen and their excos of Labour Party (LP) and other APC leaders who joined the NNPP , following renouncing memberships of their previous parties.

Speaking on behalf of the new members, former LP Ward Chairman of Ungwan Shanu/Abakpa Ibrahim Garba said deserting of their estranged parties was done on principle and out of genuine concern for the interest of the masses.

He further revealed that they left their previous parties at the behest of the people whom he noted became disenchanted with anti democratic happenings in those parties.

”Our people, after a careful consideration of major parties available, came to the conclusion that NNPP is the party for the masses with true concern and genuine blueprints on how to take them from the present socio-economic predicaments that have bedevilled the country.

”We reaffirm our allegiance to the leadership of our great party, the NNPP at ward, state and federal levels and are committed to work collectively to ensure all our candidates emerge victorious at 2023 polls,” he said.

From governor El-Rufai’s local government, It could be recalled that recently, ABG was able to pull out 4 councillors from the ruling party and 1 from PDP to join NNPP.

ABG , while welcoming the leader and Presidential flag bearer of the party to Kaduna State, reaffirmed commitment to contribute his quota to growth and development of NNPP in the state and beyond.

He sued for peace and unity among party members, saying a divided house cannot stand against adversaries.

ABG enjoined the electorate to support the NNPP as the Messiah that would rescue Nigeria from its present state of political and economic bottleneck.

He went further to say that, he also succeeded in moving the ten labour party chairmen and their exco and other APC leaders from the twelve wards within Kaduna north local government.

According to ABG, all efforts are in place to bring more leaders from all other parties to join NNPP.
