…says it is time to rally behind Tinubu to actualise Renewed Hope Agenda

Former Chief of Army Staff and ex-Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of Benin, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai (Rtd), has called on all Nigerians, including politicians, to gracefully accept the Supreme Court’s judgment and rally behind President Tinubu in order to realize the Renewed Hope Agenda.
In a congratulatory message following the landmark verdict in favor of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, Buratai emphasized the importance of embracing the court’s decision and extending support to President Tinubu.

According to the former Army Chief, the ruling serves as a clear testament to the court’s recognition of the merit in the arguments put forth by the APC and President Tinubu.
“The decision holds significant implications for the political landscape, potentially shaping future policies and governance under President Tinubu’s leadership.
“It is crucial for the stability and progress of the nation that we unite behind our elected leader. By setting aside personal and political differences, we can collectively work towards the betterment of our country.
General Buratai noted that, President Tinubu’s success in leading Nigeria will largely depend on the cooperation and collaboration of all individuals, regardless of their affiliations.
“Only through unity and a shared vision can we address the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Together, let us strive for a prosperous and harmonious Nigeria under President Tinubu’s leadership.
“President Tinubu has been handed a crucial opportunity to steer Nigeria towards a promising future. It is imperative that he remains resolute and unwavering in his commitment to implementing his renewed hope agenda. This I believe the President will do.
The path ahead may be challenging, but it is vital that President Tinubu remains focused and concentrates his efforts on bringing about positive change in Nigeria.
While noting that President Tinubu has the potential to make a lasting impact on the lives of Nigerians, Buratai further called on the President to prioritize key issues such as economic development, social welfare, and good governance.
