LP inaugurates Borno presidential campaign council with 54 support groups

The Labour Party (LP) has inaugurated the Obi-Datti presidential campaign council with 54 support groups in Borno state.
The campaign councils comprising 168 members will adopt the LP Presidential Campaign Structures (PCS) in the 27 Local Government Areas.
Inaugurating the Council, at the weekend at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) press centre in Maiduguri, the State Coordinator of the Obi-Datti presidential campaigns, Gavs Katiya, disclosed that, “The Presidency of Peter Obi and Yusuf Ahmed Datti, if elected in 2023 general elections will ensure the protection of life and property in the country.”

According to him, the Obi-Datti administration will also provide welfare to the citizens, including the dividend of democracy to the electorates.
“The Obi presidency will usher in good governance by providing security and welfare to the people,” he assured.
Besides ensuring security, the Presidency will be based on competence, integrity and pragmatism at all levels.
He said that the campaign support groups in the state are to carry out the mandate based on their motives to serve in electing Mr Peter Obi and his running mate, Datti, in 2023.
He, therefore, urged the 168-member Support Groups to spread the good news of the Obi-Datti Presidency to the electorates across the state.
