He said under his leadership, there would be a new order to redefine governance and run the state in a manner that its citizens would be the only beneficiaries of state’s resources.
Mailantarki said NNPP is known for empowering youths and women to achieve their dreams and live better as citizens where everyone would be proud of Gombe in line with the expectations of voters.
He said the people will not regret voting his party adding that the people of the state had lived in regret for electing APC and PDP which had offered below expectations.
Mailantarki who is known for his philanthropic gesture said if elected, he would ensure that all Gombe students would need not pay for external examinations and his administration would pay for them.
He listed fees to be paid by his administration to include the West African Examination Council (WAEC), Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the National Examination Council (NECO).
He said if elected, his administration would also ensure that all hindrances to getting quality education by students of the state are removed.
According to him, the burden of educating Gombe children would be borne by the state government, to ensure that parents do not pay a dime as registration fees for all entry examinations into tertiary institutions.
“This is because my government will pay all these fees, so that the poor and vulnerable can get the opportunity of quality education.
“Under my leadership, education will be the right of all Gombe children, irrespective of tribe, religion and ethnicity, because they are the leaders of tomorrow and the hope of Gombe,” he said.
Mailantarki pledged not only to resuscitate the education sector, but to also invest massively in infrastructure, in all sectors, and make “all citizens to be proud of Gombe State again.”
Earlier, the state party chairman, Maikano Abdullahi, thanked Mailantarki for providing N228 million for the house-to-house campaign, as supporters go out to mobilise votes for all NNPP candidates.
Abdullahi said with the calibre of bigwigs from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), joining the NNPP in the state, the party would sweep the polls.
