Military airstrikes kills 3 ISWAP commander, 22 other terrorists in Borno

A military coordinated airstrikes by the Air Component, Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) have killed three Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) commanders in Marte Local Council of Borno state.
The Sunday evening multiple airstrikes, also neutralised 22 other terrorists, while fleeing from the Dikwa-Marte axis.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama, a counter insurgency expert, in the Lake Chad region on Tuesday in Maiduguri; that the successful airstrikes were carried after the terrorists were trailed to a remote village of Arinna Woje.
The sources said that the fighter jet delivered a full package of aggressive bombardments, which led to the neutralization of several terrorists, including their commanders.
According to Makama, the bodies of the commanders including Abacha, Bakura, an indigene of Jibularam and Babangida; as well as 22 other terrorists were recovered and buried on Monday.

The Funeral Prayer was attended by ISWAP Amirul fiye, Abu amza, Khaid of Tumbumma, Abu Nazir, Abu Rijal, the Khaid of Koloram and several other terrorists in the region.
