NCoS partners Army to fight crimes in Yobe

The Yobe State Command of the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS); will continue to partner with the Nigerian Army in fighting criminal activities in the state.
The partnership between the two security agencies; was to sustain the synergies of protecting people’s lives and property.
Unveiling the working relationship, yesterday (Tuesday), in Damaturu, the NCoS State Comptroller, Yusuf Sambo, disclosed: “Our Command will continue to exploit the synergy with Nigerian Army to improve security in the state.”

He added that this could also nip some of the black spots in border communities with Niger Republic.
Responding, the Brigade Commander, 27 Task Force Brigade, Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK), General MJ Abubakar, solicited the ‘support and cooperation’ of the Comptroller to sustain the synergy with Army.
He, therefore, commended the Nigerian Correctional Service for sustaining the tempo of fighting criminal activities.
