New Year 2025: Gov. Fintiri Urges Unity, Optimism for a Better Future
Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has expressed optimism about the prospects of 2025, assuring citizens that their hopes, dreams, and expectations are achievable with collective effort and determination.
In his New Year message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, the governor called on Nigerians to maintain faith in the country and its future, emphasizing gratitude for the progress made in 2024 despite challenges.
“As a nation, we have much to thank God for in 2024,” Fintiri said, acknowledging the hardships faced by citizens but highlighting the state government’s poverty alleviation initiatives as crucial in providing relief to the people.
Looking ahead, the governor pledged continued efforts to foster economic growth, attract investments, and enhance security in the state. “We will keep building an economy that works for all and create safer communities through strengthened security measures and reforms,” he reassured.
Gov. Fintiri emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration, urging citizens to define and work toward a collective vision for Nigeria’s future. “Let’s continue to support one another and build a better future for everyone. Most of our problems are man-made, and we must consciously resolve them together.”
He also called on citizens to reject religious and ethnic intolerance, describing them as significant barriers to national progress.
