NNPC Ltd. Boosts Crude Oil Output to 1.8 Million Barrels Per Day
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd. (NNPC Ltd.) has reached a daily crude oil production rate of 1.8 million barrels, attributed to intensified efforts against pipeline vandalism and oil theft.
Mr. Lawal Musa, Chief Production War Room Officer and Senior Business Advisor to Group Chief Executive Officer Malam Mele Kyari, disclosed the milestone during a production briefing in Abuja on Thursday.
Musa highlighted that this achievement was made possible through collaboration between NNPC Ltd., stakeholders, and security agencies, all working under President Bola Tinubu’s directive to increase the country’s crude oil production.
