The communique reads in part, “We commend President Muhammadu Buhari led administration for its tireless efforts so far in tackling insecurity in the northern region which these days have yielded positive results and we urge the federal government not to relent as the deadly groups are regrouping to launch attacks on civilians, market places and worship centres as revenge to the current onslaught unleashed on them by Nigerian army.”

The speaker however cautioned the federal government to revisit the policy of forgiving repentant terrorists and bandits, opining that only if they are punished, that others would be deterred from perpetrating evils.
In his words, “It is time to work together to achieve this task in order to face most of the challenges disrupting the peace and security in our region and country, government cannot do it alone, it needs our collective support and prayers.”
