NPC Bauchi urges residents to shun utterances capable of causing election violence
By Matthew Eloyi
The National Peace Committee (NPC), Bauchi State Chapter has called on all peace-loving citizens of the state, particularly the Politicians to shun utterances that can cause pre-election, during elections and post elections violence.
The committee made the call in a press release signed by its organizing secretary, Dr Mrs Mercy John.
According to the release, the NPC called on eligible voters to exercise their civil rights and remember that their vote is their voice.
NPC called on politicians to stop sponsoring thuggery and other vices, adding that “human blood is sacred and shedding it is against the teaching of our religions.”
