NSCDC parade allege fake medical doctor,1 kidnaps suspect in Bauchi

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) Bauchi State Command has arrested an alleged fake medical practitioner and 25 years kidnaps suspects in the state.
The Commandant Ilelaboye Oyejide, stated this while parading the two alleged suspects on Wednesday in Bauchi.
He said the first suspects who is an imposter of a medical Doctor was identified as Usman Sadik Yelwa a staff of Hospital Management Board, work with Misau General Hospital.

He noted that the suspect Yelwa was arrested following intelegent gathering and valuable information over his career.
“We acted on the tips and information received and followed it up with the regulatory body Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and verified that he is not a medical Doctor.
“That somebody prints the certificate for him to parade himself as a medical Doctor and he confesses during investigation that he is not a medical Doctor,” he said.
The Commandant also said the command arrested one Mohammed Sani who belongs to a kidnapping syndicate terrorising residents of Bauchi and Toro local government area axis of the state.
“Following an intelligent tip up and gathering we arrested the suspect who belongs to a group of four was arrested in Lafia Nasarawa state; others are on the run.
“The suspects kidnap their Victim in Toro area and collect the sum of N2.5 Million but later release the Victim,” he said.
He said the Command is working assiduously to arrest other suspects on the run and brought them books.
The Commandant however warned anyone in such habit to desist forthwith.
He said the suspects would be charged to court immediately after the investigation is concluded.
Meanwhile the suspects admitted committing their crime but pleaded with NSCDC officials and the state government to forgive them.
