Outsource to Nigeria Initiative to generate 2,000 jobs in Gombe – Official
The Gombe government says the Outsource to Nigeria Initiative (OTNI), will provide 2,000 job opportunities to youth and women in the state.
This is contained in a statement on Saturday by Isma’ila Misili, the Director-General, Press Affairs, Government House, Gombe.

The initiave along with the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) centre would be unveiled by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, on Monday in Gombe.
According to Misili, the BPO centre is the first in the North-Eeast and the biggest in Nigeria, adding that it would provide about 2,000 job opportunities to the youths in the state.
“With the establishment of BPO centre in Gombe which is located at the Amina Mohammed Skills Acquisition Centre, is poised to become a hub for outsourcing services, leveraging the skills and potential of its youths.
“OTNI is a catalyst for change in the business process and technology-enabled outsourcing sector, and the fastest route to job security for the teeming youths in Gombe State and Nigeria at large.
“By the initiative, the Inuwa Yahaya-led administration has further demonstrated its commitment to provide sustainable employment opportunities and empower youths to contribute meaningfully to the state’s development and progress, ” he said
He commended Shettima for his support and commitment to the socio-economic development of Gombe state and Nigeria.
Misili said the unveiling ceremony would be graced by stakeholders from public and private sectors within and outside the country.
