Peetah Morgan, Lead Singer of Morgan Heritage Dies at 47
The Grammy Award-winning band, Morgan Heritage, renowned for hit songs like “Don’t Haffi Dread (To Be Rasta),” “Down by the River,” “Tell Me How Come,” and “She’s Still Loving Me,” announced the passing of Peetah on Sunday, February 25.
The cause of death was not disclosed.

In a statement shared on Instagram, the Morgan family expressed, “It is with heartfelt love that we announce the departure of our cherished husband, father, son, brother, and lead vocalist of Morgan Heritage, Peter Anthony Morgan, today. Jah has come to save us from ourselves because love is eternal.”
