The Commissioner of Police Bauchi Command, Umar Sanda, has warned against disruption of peace and stability of the state in the holy month of Ramadan.
Sanda gave the warning in a statement signed by the Command’s Spokesman, SP Ahmed Wakil, and made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Bauchi.
He said that the command would not hesitate to take legal action against perpetrators of evils in the month of Ramadan across the state.
“The attention of the command has been drawn to a purported plan by some miscreants who disguise themselves in the celebration of the citation of the new Ramadan moon to disrupt the peace of the state,” he said.
