Rufai Oseni, a well-known Arise TV anchor, has received a murder threat from an unidentified gang.
This was revealed by Ojy Okpe, a colleague of Rufai’s, during the “What’s Trending” segment of the morning show on Arise TV.
Ojy quoted verbatim from a post that was recently made by the “Anonymous Collective” page on Facebook, claiming that Rufai’s life is in danger.
An assassination attempt is allegedly being planned for Rufai and his family, according to the page that claims they are unaware of who he is.
The page, which has thousands of followers, is well known for disclosing the plans and secrets of unknown parties, particularly when anonymous death threats are involved.

The Arise TV anchor was urged to keep safe after the post highlighted Peter Obi’s detention rumours, which have been circulating. It further indicated that these plans are soon to be carried out.
Rufai responded to the threat made on the show by saying that this isn’t the first time he’s received threats against his life and even the lives of his family.
He acknowledged that his work had a negative impact on him and his family, but he insisted that he would continue regardless of the risks to his life because he believed that the country needed good, trustworthy journalism.
In reaction to Rufai’s remark, Ojy Okpe assured him that he has the full support of everyone at Arise TV.
