Eight days before taking office, the president-elect, Bola Tinubu, has returned to Nigeria.
On Saturday, May 20, Tinubu arrived home after a week in Europe.

Recall that on May 10, Tinubu departed for Europe.
He utilizes the trip to fine-tune the transition plans, initiatives, and policy alternatives with some of his closest advisers without undue pressure and distractions, according to a statement provided by his spokesman, Tunde Rahman.
