Ramadan: Bauchi communities lauds Dogora over donation of food items

Communities in Bauchi state have lauded the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara for donating food all items to Muslims Umma at Ramadan.
Our correspondent reports that Dogara represented Bogoro/Dass/Tafawa-Balewa Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.

Alhaji Bappah Audu, a community leader spoke to journalists on behalf of the benefiting communities of 20 local government areas on Thursday in Bauchi.
He said the benefiting communities commended Dogara for the donation of food items during the fasting period when people needed it most and as well, promote good relationships.
“On behalf of the benefiting communities we are grateful to the former Speaker.
“We appreciate him for his passion for helping the poor and working for the development of the state,” he said.
Audu explained that the beneficiaries are mosques, Chief Imam’s, less privileged, various associations and the downtrodden at Ramadan.
“The food items distributed include; four trailers of rice. One trailer load of sugar, two trailers of assorted grains, 300 cartons of spaghetti, Can fish, 400 cartons of Indomie noodles.
“About 35 percent of the consignments went to his Federal Constituency as the balance of 65 percent went to the remaining 17 LGAs in the state,” he said.
