The Kaduna State Government has said that the security forces have arrested three people suspected of involvement in the murder of two people in Nasarawa in Sabon Garin Nasarawa in Chikun Local Government Area of the state.
The Commissioner for Internal Security and Internal Affairs, Mr. Samuel Aruwan, disclosed this in a statement he issued on Monday in Kaduna.
The Kaduna state government has banned public movement in connection with the violence on Sunday and Monday night that killed two people and injured six others in Sabon Garin-Tirkaniya area of Chikun local government.

According to him, this decision was taken after the military, the police and the Ministry of Defense thoroughly analysed the security problem and the emergency meeting held by the traditional and religious leaders of the area.
He said the government has also ordered the arrest of anyone involved in drug trafficking in Nasarawa and Sabon Garin Nasarawa.
“Two people were killed, six people were injured and they are currently receiving medical attention. Many cars and properties were also destroyed,” he said.
The commissioner also said Governor Nasir El-Rufai appreciated the action taken by the army and the police to prevent violence in the area.
The governor expressed his condolences to all those who died.
It was reported that, on Monday morning, the Kaduna state government announced the imposition of a 24-hour curfew in the area of Sabon Garin Nassarawa-Tirkaniya in Chikun local government.
