Troops foil attack on Yobe community

Security operatives have foiled an attack on Babbangida town, the headquarters of Tarmuwa Local Government Area of Yobe State.
It was gathered that suspected Boko Haram members launched the attack on the town on Sunday evening.

The troops were said to have overpowered the terrorists, forcing them to retreat.

Babbangida is located 50 kilometers from Damaturu, the state capital, and is one of the towns that suffered several attacks by insurgents in the state.
