Sen. Goje empowers constituents with tricycles, motorcycles
Senator Muhammad Danjuma Goje, Senator representing Gombe Central Senatorial District, has distributed empowerment materials to over 1500 constituents and followers to make them self-reliant.
The empowerment items distributed by the senator included 500 tricycles and 1000 motorcycles.
Speaking during the distribution in Gombe on Tuesday senator Goje said the reason for the empowerment program was to reduce the rate of unemployment among the people of his constituency, especially the youths and women.
He added that the project will also encourage the spirit of self-reliance among the people in the area.
Represented by the member representing Yamaltu West Constituency in the state assembly, Hon. Abubakar Ibrahim Kurba, Sen. Goje called on the beneficiaries to make good use of the items, adding that many youth and women will continue to benefit from such interventions.
“Our leader Senator Goje is a lover of the common man, hence, his resolve to always help those who are in need to make them self-reliant and also improve their economic status”. Kurba said.
In an interview with one of the beneficiaries, Sulaiman Kumo, who got a tricycle, thanked the senator for his care, adding that with the tricycle, his life will be transformed.
He described Goje as an uncommon senator and commended him for bringing succour to his people through various projects and empowerment items. He also pledged his 100 per cent loyalty to the senator.
