The management members of National Orientation Agency (NOA) Borno State Zonal Office led by the State Director, Hajiya Zainab Jidda were at the Borno State Ministry of Information and Internal Security on a courtesy visit on Wednesday, 29th November, 2023.
The Zonal Director stated that they were at the Ministry to congratulate the new Commissioner of Information and Internal Security, Prof. Usman A. Tar, whom Hajiya Zainab described as a round peg in a round hole. She further sought for collaboration and partnership with the ministry in the dissemination of Information and in championing public enlightenment of government policies and Programmes. In the company of the Zonal Director were Hajiya Zuwaira M. Ali, Deputy Director; Mal. Abba Kyari, Asst. Director; and Hajiya Aisha Abatcha, Programme Manager among other senior staff of the agency.
In response, the Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, Prof. Usman Tar, assured NOA delegation of the Ministry’s readiness to collaborate with sister agencies such as the NOA in strategic information management. Prof. Tar charged NOA to support the 25 year development plan of Gov Zulum Administration. He further directed that NOA should key into the ongoing Social Orientation Programme and the Borno model for Peace and Reconciliation. In the company of the Commissioner were the Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Mohammed Mohammed; the ministerial secretary, Zanna Sadiq Abubakar, heads of agencies and parastatals under the ministry and Directors in the Ministry.
