Support Buhari to crush Insurgency, Buratai tells International community
Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Benin Republic Amb. Tukur Yusufu Buratai has called on United States, United Kingdom, and other international communities to support, President Buhari, to curb insurgency and other terrorism
This was just as Buratai said the war on terrorism required a collective fight, adding that relying solely on the military to end the war would be counterproductive.

Buratai stated this at the lecture for the 24th, 25th, and 26th convocation of Modibbo Adama University Yola, Adamawa State.
He spoke on the paper titled, ‘The Nigerian front in the war on terror: Security and Development’.
He noted that while countries such as the USA, UK, Germany, and France, had pledged support, it had not translated into tangible results.
