Governor Yahaya Pays Tribute to NTA GM’s Father, a Pillar of Wisdom In the wake of a profound loss, the community of Gombe stands in mourning as Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya extends his heartfelt condolences to the General Manager of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) Gombe Station, Malam Abubakar Adamu, on the passing of his father, Alhaji Adamu Aliyu Deba. Alhaji Adamu Aliyu Deba, a nonagenarian who passed away at the age of 90 after a brief illness, was a revered figure in the community. "His life was marked by discipline, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to guiding and inspiring those around him. As a family patriarch and a respected community leader, his absence will be deeply felt across the state. Governor Yahaya fondly remembered Alhaji Deba’s storied career, which spanned from his humble beginnings in the Native Authorities to his esteemed role as a local government treasurer. "His legacy, as noted by the Governor, is one of dedication and service—a testament to a life well-lived in the service of his nation and faith. The loss of Alhaji Adamu Deba is not only a personal tragedy for Malam Abubakar Adamu and his family but also a collective sorrow for the entire state, which he served with honor and distinction. The Governor’s message of consolation reminds us of the enduring impact of Alhaji Deba’s life, one that was devoted to the betterment of his community and the glory of Almighty Allah. In his message, Governor Yahaya expressed his deep sadness and extended his condolences to the bereaved family and the Yamaltu Deba community at large. He prayed for divine forgiveness for the departed soul and for Aljannat Firdaus to be his final abode. As the state of Gombe comes together in this moment of grief, the memory of Alhaji Adamu Aliyu Deba will continue to shine as a beacon of wisdom and service, inspiring future generations to walk in the path of righteousness and community leadership.
