Traffic Jam: Motorists, Commuters Stranded Along Abuja-Keffi Expressway (Video)

Motorists were on Monday stranded along the Abuja-Keffi expressway due to the ongoing construction of a road along the Ado bridge.
Northeaststar reports that most of the commuters stranded just have to be patient because there are no alternative routes to avoid the gridlock.

However, it was learned that the gridlock started on Saturday through Sunday with some motorists spending their night on the highway.
Our correspondent gathered that the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) where present at the Ado bus location to direct and help motorists move easily.
One of the commuters who spoke to our correspondent said, “I was made to understand that the work started two days back.
“The road should have been open by now because today is Monday people are going to work”
“The road is too bad to the extent people trekked for far distances due to delay and high cost of transportation fair buses charge from 300 to 500, motorcycle charge 1000.”
