Troop Kills 3 Commanders of ISWAP, Sores of fighters in Northeast

Military fighter jets have struck a large convergence of terrorists in the enclaves of the Islamic State for West African Province (ISWAP) in the North East of Lake Chad, killing scores of terrorists including three Commanders.
The Intelligence-Led Aerial strikes Coordinated by the Air Task Force(ATF), Operation Hadin Kai, targeting the terrorist hideouts in Rino, Jibularam And Kangarwa in Marte and Kukawa Local Government Area were Launched in the early hours of September 14, 2022.
An Intelligence Officer told Zagazola Makama, a Security Analyst and a Counter Insurgency in Lake Chad that the first damaging air interdiction targeted hideouts of the terrorist and a training camp in Rinu, killing an unspecified number of the fighters.
The sources said that ATF conducted another bombing raid in Jibularam which resulted in the killing of three Commanders of the ISWAP and many other fighters.
He said that the Commanders comprised, Muhammed Balge, a Chief Prosecutor, Mallam Chiroma, his Second in Command and Amir Bashir, a.k.a ibliss (devil), who was a Sniper and the militant’s marksman who engages targets from positions of concealment.
He said “In another feat, which followed a credible and actionable intelligence obtained by the air component of Operation Hadin Kai, the troops neutralized many terrorists moving in two vehicles in the axis of Kangarwa in Kukawa LGA.
“On receipt of the distress call, NAF aircraft immediately scrambled to the location where they intercepted and neutralised several terrorists. Troops deployment around the area revealed that the terrorists suffered heavy casualties from the airstrikes,” he said.
The top Intelligence sources noted that the Air Force, operating in concert with surface forces, will sustain its offensives against the terrorists in the Northeast.
