Troops raid Boko Haram “Daula Market” kill 6 terrorists, arrest many suspects in Borno

Troops of the 21 Armored Brigade Bama killed six Boko Haram terrorists when it invaded another illegal market established by the terrorists on the outskirt of the North East of Bama, in Borno State.
It was gathered that the successful Operation took place on Wednesday at about 1100hours when the troops in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), stormed an illegal market also known as Daula Market at Bararam village.

An Intelligence Officer told Zagazola Makama, a Counter Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in Lake Chad, that transactions were going on when the troops busted the illegal market.
They were trading in items like maize, beans, salt, Maggi, used cloths, drugs petrol to the insurgents while the insurgents would in exchange supply scrap metals.
The sources said that upon sighting the troops, the terrorists opened rapid fire but were swiftly engaged and neutralized by the troops.
They arrested many Boko Haram logistics suppliers and collaborators and recovered some weapons in the aftermath of the battle.
The suspects were transferred to the Brigade headquarters in Bama for investigation.
