TY Buratai FC tour Niger Republic
The T Y Buratai Football Club has undertaken a tour to Yobe, Kebbi and the Niger Republic where the Kaduna-based club played out friendly matches with clubs in the area
The aim of the tour is to foster friendship among youths of these areas.
Speaking to journalists after the successful completion of the tour, the club president, Engr Hassan Mohammed, expressed his satisfaction with the performance of his team in all the friendly matches played while on tour.
While commending the way the team comported themselves, he further stated that with the level of discipline of the teams, ‘we are able to win some of the matches we played and also lost some, notably is the one we lost to Ni’ima Football Club of Diffa in the Niger Republic by 4 goals to 3,’ he said.
Members of the teams also expressed their gratitude to the founder and sponsors of the team in the person of the Ambassador of Nigeria to Benin Republic Amb. T. Y. Buratai for all his contributions for the uplift of sports and youth development.
They also thanked their hosts for all the hospitality accorded them during the tour.
The team presented football kits to many clubs during the tour.
