UTME: Private school conducts free CBT training in Gombe
A private secondary school in Gombe, Nurul Huda International Academy, has started a four-day Computer Based Test (CBT) free training for students who registered for 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The Director of the school, Mrs Maryam Ahmed, stated this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Gombe on Thursday.
She said that the training was opened to everyone who had registered for the examination and interested in learning.
She said that such activities would improve academic performance and orient the students on how to use the examination software.
According to her, the free exercise is part of the school’s social responsibility programme.
“Therefore, everybody is free to attend. The students will be equipped with computer knowledge on how to write the exams.
“This is because, it’s not everyone that is privileged to learn computer, not to talk of operating it during examination,” Ahmed said.
The director said that so far the school had registered 80 students and still expecting a good number to register.
She urged parents to avail themselves of the opportunity by sending their wards to enrol for the training. (NAN)
