The Nigerian Army has recorded another milestone in its fight against insurgency and terrorism in Northeast Nigeria.
There was a time the ISWAP faction alias Khilafa Soldiers dominated a large portion of the Lake Chad waters but the story has now changed. This is because officers and men of OP Hadin Kai are now in control of the Lake Chad waterways covering Cameroon and Chad borders.
This platform conducted an investigation and found out that the Nigerian military is fully in control of the waterways. OurNigeria News Magazine also verified this information with the Theatre Commander of Operation Hadin Kai, Major General CG Musa. When asked if the Nigerian military is in control of the Lake Chad waterways, General Musa said, “Yes. We have opened the waterways linking up to Chad n Cameroon.”
